when I didnt know the things around me, yet would smile..
to see the simple lifestyles of the people I know..
when bell-bottom pants were still in fashion..

when advertisements used to be poetic..
when Doordarshan ruled the television world..
and see myself as the child playing innocently with other children..
to see those glorious childhood days of mine..

when Science was called Environmental Studies..
when I struggled with English and Mathematics..
when it was fun to learn History and Geography..
when I got my first award in school..

to see how I enjoyed my school summer vacations..
to see how I disliked rains and school during rains..
to see my reactions on results day..
when it mattered getting th First rank..

to see my first day in jr. college..
to that glorious day when I made my parents proud..
to see the happiness which shook my family..

to see those days when assignments were completed at light's speed as well as snail's speed..
to see how I met my friends..
to see those days when we wondered how our vivas would go..
to see how we used to prepare for our exams..
to see how close we were with our pals n gals..
to see how much I struggled in trains en route to Engg college..
to see how the guys n gals enjoyed visiting all the places we had been to..
to see ALL those Mafia games which played-hahaha..
to play cricket wherever we found space and time..
to see the days of "chaapofying" and "bunking"..
to see the placement offering companies in our college..
to see the LAST day of our Engg days..
